FAITH MISSION STATEMENT

The Purpose of this Church shall be to work together for the unity, edification, discipline, and encouragement of believers that they might grow in grace and holy conduct, and to seek to win souls for Christ and to further His cause on the mission fields at home and abroad.

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

This church acknowledges the Bible, the Old & New Testaments, as the inspired Word of God and the only perfect rule of faith, doctrine and conduct. We believe that there is only one God. eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious atoning death through His shed blood and bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. We believe that salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is the only answer to the needs of man and that total commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives is our responsibility and privilege. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Clmstian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

GOD'S PLAN OF SALVATION

1. Without Jesus Christ, all mankind is lost and without hope for eternity. As it is written: there is no one righteous, not even one...' (Romans 3:10) "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God'' (Romans 3:23)

2. Jesus Christ is God's provision for man's salvation. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him! For when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his lifel'' (Romans 5:8-10). For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16) "...and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.'' (Hebrews 9:22b)

3. We must personally receive Jesus Christ for salvation. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed on his name, he gave the right to be come children of God (John 1:12). In reply Jesus declared, I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again (John 3:3). That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.... for 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.''' (Romans 10:9,13).

Suggested Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, I confess that I am a lost sinner. Please forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead. I give my life to you and do want to be born-again and have everlasting life. In Jesus name. Amen.
